The main entrance to the college is located on the west side of Rte. 107 approximately one mile north of
Jericho Turnpike. From the Long Island Expressway (Route 495), east or west: Travel to exit 41 north, Route
106/107. Proceed north for 1-1/2 miles to the campus entrance. From the Northern State Parkway, east or
west: Travel to exit 35 North, Route 106/107. Proceed north for 1-1/2 miles to the campus entrance.
10:00 am
Registration begins in the main lobby. Each competitor is given a number, a printed
schedule, the LIBC program and all necessary instructions.
10:30 am
Final arrival time for all competitors.
11:3- am 12:45 pm
All competitors on stage for their Master Class. Seniors and Pre-Professionals are on the
main stage with Mary Carpenter, and Juniors are in the backstage area with Victoria Edgar. Judges will peruse the Master Class.
12:45 pm 1:00 pm
Competitors go to their respective dressing areas to prepare for the competition.
Competition starts promptly at 1:00 pm.
1:00 pm
Theater opens to the public.
1:30 pm 2:30 pm
All competition times are estimated at this juncture because the actual number
of competitors is not currently available.
Pre-Professionals First Classical All female competitors followed by male competitors.

Registration begins in the main lobby for the open master class.
10:00 am 11:15 am
Open Master Class on the main stage, taught by Mary Carpenter. Class is $20 for all,
including competitors if they choose to take the Open Class.
11:30 am 12:45 am
All competitors on stage for their Master Class with Mary Carpenter.
Seniors and Pre-Professionals are on the main stage with Mary Carpenter,
and Juniors are in the backstage area with an instructor yet to be named.
12:45 am 1:00 pm
The competition results and the lineup for the Gala are announced in the theater and
posted simultaneously in the lobby.
1:00 pm 1:45 pm
FREE Pointe Shoe Seminar conducted by Mary Carpenter.
1:45 pm 2:30 pm
The Gala participants prepare for their performance.
Gala participants will include all prize winners in each division, including male winners. Juniors
will perform their Enchainement, while Seniors and Pre-Professionals will perform one of their
classical variations selected by LIBC. Pre-Professionals will also perform their Contemporary
variation. LIBC may also add non-prize winning competitors to the Gala who showed exceptional merit.
2:15 pm Theater opens to the public.

Gala Performance
10-Minute Break After Gala
Following the break, all competitors will be invited onto the stage to
receive their awards and certificates.
